Inspirational and soulful are two words that describe Kendra’s music. Her earthy vocals have
undertones of Sam Cooke and Lauryn Hill. Growing up Kendra’s family immersed her
environment with influential musical vibes creating a solid foundation in which she grasped hold.
Knowing that God’s plan was bigger than hers, Kendra stepped out on faith to pursue her passion.
Kendra penned her first single “Thank You for Rescuing Me”, released in the early 2000s. In 2014,
Kendra followed up her single with a new album titled “Prince of Peace. As Kendra’s vision and
territory increased, in 2017, Kendra released her brand new single “You Are.” This song reflects
her growth and captures the depth of her heart’s desire.
Since Kendra’s debut onto the Christian and Gospel music scenes, her gift of song has made room
for her to sing background for Gospel Music’s elite Le’Andria Johnson, Jessica Reedy, Kim Burrell,
BET’s Sunday Best Season 7 Geoffrey Golden and she has been a member of the Miami Mass
Choir. Besides being an accomplished background vocalist, Kendra has opened for Gospel Music
powerhouses Jekalyn Carr, Mali Music, Nigel Lewis, BET’s Sunday Best Race to the Stage winner
Dewayne Crocker and others. Kendra’s tenacity to absorb everything that God has for her is
incomparable.
Kendra resides in the Southern Florida area. She has been a dynamic, anointed, powerful Worship
Leader/Recording Artist at several surrounding churches, concerts, events, etc. The release of
her new album is forthcoming. Kendra has formed a band to compliment her strong vocals and
is focused on sharing her ministry with the masses.
