Pastor Mary is a living testament of God’s amazing grace. She rose from tragedy to triumph, overcoming insurmountable odds to become the woman that God destined her to be. Faced with the challenges of abandonment, sexual and physical abuse, numerous addictive behaviors, and life-threatening illnesses, Mary might have been nothing more than just another unfortunate statistic. But, through a series of divinely orchestrated events, Mary gave her life to the Lord and was dramatically changed. Step by step, God began to reconstruct her life, forming her into the image and likeness of Christ. Through the delivering power of God, Mary was completely set free from all of her addictions and supernaturally healed from the pain and hurt of her past.
Dovie lives in victory and has been an essential part of the Daughters of Esther ministry since 2014. She has experienced deliverance from drugs, un-forgiveness, and the scars of sexual and physical abuse. She has also lived through healing from breast cancer and restoration in her marriage. Today, Dovie is a graduate from multiple bible study programs and is well trained and equipped to do the work of the ministry that God has called her to. She is prophetically gifted, an evangelist and intercessory prayer warrior. She uses her spiritual gifts for others so that they too can live in victory.
Dovie was born in Tennessee but raised in Delaware where she currently resides with her best friend and husband, Allen McDow. They have two sons, Alex and Paul, a daughter-in-law Brigid, and two beautiful Grandchildren.
Sonja is a survivor and has dared to face, share and help others with various topics from her past including teenage pregnancy and domestic violence. With instructions from The Lord, Sonja obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and is now an author, speaker, blogger and business owner. Everything she touches is for the Glory of God and His people that he has directed her to minister to. She has been with the Daughters of Esther ministry since 2012.
Sonja lives in Delaware and is married to an awesome man of God, Dion Poitier. Their beautiful blended family consist of five amazing children whom they have raised and taught to love, serve and honor God.
