Chéryl Wilmore is a single and proud mother of a beautiful daughter, a professional musician, preacher, and educator. She holds Masters Degrees and certifications in Music, Information Systems Technology and is currently a Doctoral candidate. She will soon complete her Doctorate in Innovation and Leadership later this year (2017). Most of all, Chéryl loves the Lord and is an ambassador for Christ.
God gave Chéryl a gift for music, and at an early age she came to realize a passion for using that gift to worship Him and bless his people. She began formal training as a classical pianist at the age of 4 and became a multi instrumentalist as she studied and became proficient with many other instruments. In addition to performance, she is a music producer, has held positions as a Minister of Music for several churches in the tri-state region, and has taught students privately and in music education grades K-12 in the public, private, and parochial schools for over 30 years. Chéryl has worked and performed with recording artists such as the Clark Sisters, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, The Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, Kevin Bond, and many others. Students of Chéryl have grown to become music professionals and artists in their own right. Chéryl continues to teach music privately.
Chéryl is on a quest to realize the vision God has given her, which is to continue to minister to others by using her gifts. She will continue to provide technology consultation service and support, and training and development in order to empower others to increase their productivity, enrich their lives and to manage their technology. She aims to develop others and increase awareness in the area of music by providing individual and group instruction in worship, performance, composition, and digital music production. Her goal is to form musical ensembles and performance opportunities in order to serve God and the community
